^{The structural laboratory of civil engineering department of IUT with proper equipment and responsible staff, hosts a considerable number of graduate students through their research projects every year. Following are some of the possible examinations and available instruments,}

^{A) 3-point and 4-point bending test for beams, equipped by:}

^{-  Loading frame of 2500kN capacity, based on strong foundation and wall, for beam length between 500mm and 2600mm.}

^{- Loading frame of 600kN capacity, for beams of length 500mm up to 2600mm.}

^{- Toughness test frame of 50kN capacity, for specimens of 250mm up to 950mm length.}

^{B) Axial loading test instrument of 2000kN capacity for specimens of 900-2000mm height.}

^{C) Cyclic horizontal loading equipment.}

^{D) Tension test for retrofitted specimens.}

^{E) FRP pre-stressing device for beams of maximum 2600mm length.}
